    How a filing
    becomes a row

The pipeline runs nightly. Nothing is hand-edited, and every value keeps the filing date it arrived with, so a stale field looks stale instead of looking current.

    Pull

Each upstream system is fetched on its own cadence and stored raw, with the retrieval timestamp.

    Join

Records are matched on DOT number, then MC number, into one row per carrier.

    Diff

The new row is compared against yesterday. Changed fields become the events that drive alerts.

    Publish

The index rebuilds at 02:00 CT. Daily lists go out at 06:00 in your timezone.

    Common questions

    About the record

    At a glance
    RebuildNightly, 02:00 CT
    Field datingPer field
    Inferred valuesNone
    Export limitUnmetered
    How current is a record?
The database is rebuilt nightly from the latest public filings. Every field shows its own filing date, so you can see whether a fleet size came from last month or from 2019 — a stale filing is never presented as fresh data.
    Is contact information included?
Phone and business email are included where the carrier filed them publicly. Coverage is strongest on recently granted authorities, which is exactly where the daily list points you.
Do you charge per record or per export?
No. Export is unmetered on every paid plan — CSV on all of them, API on Monitoring. What you filter is what you can take with you.
Can I monitor carriers I already work with?
Yes. Upload your book by DOT or MC number and CarrierList watches it for authority revocations, insurance lapses, out-of-service spikes and fleet-size changes, then tells you the same day.
Why do some carriers have no inspection history?
A carrier that has never been inspected has no SAFER record to join. Those rows show the authority and insurance data with the safety fields empty rather than zeroed, so you can tell “none” apart from “not yet inspected.”
What happens after the free look?
You can search and browse without a card. Saving segments, downloading, and receiving the daily list start on a paid plan. Cancel from the billing page — no call, no retention flow.

    Pricing

    Billing

    No surprises
    on the invoice.

    Is there a free trial?
You can search and browse without a card. Saving segments, exporting, and receiving the daily list begin when you pick a plan.
    Can I change plans mid-month?
Yes, up or down, prorated from the day you switch. Downgrading keeps your saved segments; they simply stop updating beyond the new plan limit.
Do you charge for extra seats?
Seats are included at the counts listed above. If you need more than ten, that is a conversation rather than a price page line.
    How do I cancel?
From the billing page, in one click. No call, no retention flow, and your exports stay yours.

    Company

Built by people who sell to carriers.

CarrierList came out of running a dispatch operation and getting tired of paying enterprise prices for a list anyone can file for. So we built the list, and priced it for the shops that actually use it.

    What we
    believe

Public data should be cheap to reach and honest about its age. Software should get out of the way of the person doing the work. Neither of those needs a sales call.

    Honest data

    Dated, never inferred

If a filing is three years old, the record says so. We would rather show a gap than guess at a value.

    Fair pricing

    No per-record fees

Metering an export punishes the customer for using the product they already paid for.

    Real support

    You reach a person

Email goes to the people who build it. Cancellation is a button, not a phone call.
