One record per carrier, joined from the public filings
The carrier data everyone else sells by the seat. CarrierList puts the full public record — authority, insurance, inspections, fleet size — behind one search box, and tells you the day any of it changes.

What you get
Built for people who work
a list, not a dashboard.
4.5M carrier records
Interstate and intrastate operators, with authority, insurance and safety data joined onto one record.
Daily refresh
Rebuilt every night at 02:00 CT. Every field carries the date it was filed, not the date we loaded it.
40+ filters
Authority age, power units, driver count, domicile, radius, cargo, OOS rate, insurance status.
Saved segments
Define the list once. It updates itself and tells you what is new since you last opened it.
Monitoring & alerts
Revocations, insurance lapses, OOS spikes and fleet-size swings, on the carriers you care about.
Unmetered export
CSV and API on every paid plan. No per-record charge, no credit meter, no export cap.
Sourced and dated
Every field traces back to a public FMCSA filing, so your compliance team can check the work.
Priced for small teams
A two-person agency gets the same data as a national broker, without an enterprise contract.

Where the data comes from
Public filings,
dated and traceable.
Every field traces back to a public FMCSA filing and carries the date it was filed. Nothing is inferred, and nothing is presented fresher than it actually is.

Every field, and where it came from.
CarrierList is a join over the public FMCSA record. This page is the whole of it — the sources, the refresh cadence, and every column you can filter or export.
Sources
Five public filing systems, joined onto one record per DOT number. Where two sources disagree, the more recent filing wins and both dates are kept.
| Source | What it gives | Typical cadence | Fields |
|---|---|---|---|
| MCS-150 | Fleet size, drivers, mileage, cargo, address | Biennial + on update | 11 |
| Licensing & Insurance | Operating authority status, grants, revocations | Daily | 7 |
| BMC-91 / BMC-34 | Insurance on file, carrier, effective and cancel dates | Daily | 6 |
| SAFER | Inspections, out-of-service results, crash counts | Weekly | 12 |
| Company snapshot | Legal name, DBA, phone, email, domicile | Daily | 8 |
How a filing
becomes a row
The pipeline runs nightly. Nothing is hand-edited, and every value keeps the filing date it arrived with, so a stale field looks stale instead of looking current.
Pull
Each upstream system is fetched on its own cadence and stored raw, with the retrieval timestamp.
Join
Records are matched on DOT number, then MC number, into one row per carrier.
Diff
The new row is compared against yesterday. Changed fields become the events that drive alerts.
Publish
The index rebuilds at 02:00 CT. Daily lists go out at 06:00 in your timezone.

Company
Built by people who sell to carriers.
CarrierList came out of running a dispatch operation and getting tired of paying enterprise prices for a list anyone can file for. So we built the list, and priced it for the shops that actually use it.
What we
believe
Public data should be cheap to reach and honest about its age. Software should get out of the way of the person doing the work. Neither of those needs a sales call.
Dated, never inferred
If a filing is three years old, the record says so. We would rather show a gap than guess at a value.
No per-record fees
Metering an export punishes the customer for using the product they already paid for.
You reach a person
Email goes to the people who build it. Cancellation is a button, not a phone call.
